Call of Dragons Royal Rankings Event: A Comprehensive Guide to Achieving 1.5M Power

Hey fellow adventurers! Are you ready to dominate the Royal Rankings Event in Call of Dragons? With our expert guide, you’ll learn how to reach an impressive 1.5 million power. Follow these detailed steps to ensure your place among the top players. Let’s dive in!

Best ways to gain power for Royal Rankings Event [Call Of Dragons]:

Choosing the Right Faction [Civilization]

When you begin your journey in Call of Dragons, selecting the right faction or civilization is crucial. Springwardens (Archers Main) is a must for this event. This choice provides strategic advantages and ensures you start strong.

Joining a Strong Alliance

Early in the game, it’s essential to join an alliance with active spenders. This will allow you to receive valuable chests that accelerate your progress. Being part of a powerful alliance also provides the support and resources necessary for rapid advancement. In this case, I have joined a project that started on the 440 server as a jumper project and is running successfully on the 445 server (the targeted server).

Rushing to T2: The Key to Early Success

Upon spawning, your immediate goal is to unlock T2 units. Here’s how to do it efficiently:

  1. Use Speedups Wisely: At the start, you have just enough speedups to unlock T2. Prioritize this to gain an early edge.
  2. Train Tier-II (T2) Archers First: Begin by training around 5,000 T2 archers. These units will be essential for your early battles and progress.
  3. Utilize (Behemoth Trail) Dragon Trail: Use your T2 archers to progress through the Behemoth Trail (Dragon Trail), earning significant training speedups and experience points.

Expanding Your Tier-II (T2) Army

With the training speedups acquired, focus on expanding your T2 army:

  • Train 5k T2 Mages and Infantry: After archers, focus on training 5,000 T2 mages and infantry. These units will be crucial for further progression.
  • Continue Behemoth Trail (Dragon Trail): Use your newly trained T2 units to continue advancing in the Dragon Trail. This will yield more rewards and training speedups.

Mastering Exploration

Exploration is a vital part of your early game strategy. Ensure you:

  • Clear the Mist 100%: Thoroughly explore and clear the mist to uncover all rewards.
  • Collect All Exploration Rewards: Every reward collected boosts your resources and capabilities.

Transitioning to Mid-Game: Preparing for T3

As you move past the early stages, it’s time to prepare for T3 units. Here’s how to do it effectively:

  1. Balance Your Army: Ensure you have a balanced army with a significant number of T2 units for each troop type, excluding cavalry.
  2. Primary Focus: Have 5/1/1/1 primaries for all your marches.
  3. Resource Gathering: Constantly gather resources. Keep all marches out gathering whenever you’re out of command points (CP).

Maximizing CP Usage

On the last day of the Royal Rankings Event, maximize your CP usage:

  • Save CP Items: Do not use CP items until the final day. This allows you to level up your heroes with the maximum experience possible.
  • Spend All CP: On the last day, spend all your saved CP items to gain the required power!

Levelling Up Heroes And Artifacts

Try to level up all the heroes you obtain to at least level 10 or level 11 (which is what I recommend personally as it completes the base talent tree points)

Complete level 20 and then level 30 of the main hero so that you can add a deputy hero, which helps you to train both of them with optimal CP (command points) per experience (XP).

The rule applies to your artifacts. Make sure to upgrade only those artifacts you will use in the future for all the possible heroes or troop commanders. You can make other secondary artifacts from level 10 to level 15 which cost less Arcane dust (the item used to increase the hero XP).

Events and Quests

Focus on the main quests and complete them as many as possible which gives you some additional rewards that help your account progress.

Try to start the Season Stories right at the start of day 1 of the server complete the highest quests you can and level up or upgrade your heroes, artifacts, and building to help your cause.

Complete all the Daily Campaigns without fail and you get the free rewards.

War Pets

As a new player in the server, you can only access the War Pets after the completion of the Augurstone’s “A Date With Destiny” quest.

As this quest will unlock on the last day of your Royal Rankings event completion, you need to be careful to regenerate the default epic war pet into a legendary pet (if get lucky).  Equip this pet to your main hero and other pet to the 2nd best hero you have.

Mistakes To Avoid

  • Collect all the freebies (Wonders, Caves, Villages, and so on) or rewards earned by exploring the mist (map) before moving into the jumper server. I made that mistake and that proved to be a bit of a mess up.
  • I have jumped from server 441 to server 440 instead of doing so from server 440 as I didn’t get the Auto Resources option on my main mail account (both characters). That affected me about 40 hours of difference from the players started in server 440 where our alliance project has started. So make sure to start and jump to the longest time gap server (you get a 7-9-day chance to move from the existing server to the jump server). So as the Royal Ranking Event finishes within 7 days, jumping on the 6th day can be a good choice. You get the reset of another 5 days or so to complete the event.
  • Don’t spend Command points (CP) on Elaina’s rallies during the Elaina’s Crisis Event. Instead, farm the ceremonial masks hunting Darklings.
  • Don’t spend 5K gems on 2nd builder (again that is a mistake done by me too), but instead, spend on rushing to VIP 8. For 2 days there is a 150 gem option which can be useful for the 1st 2 days of the new server where the earlier building rush is faster and less time-limited!
  • Use speedups only after City Hall 12 and above and don’t waste them when there are no events like Strongest Lord Event or unless there is an unavoidable situation.
